Young Physicians Section

The Young Physicians Section (YPS) is a component society composed entirely of physician members who are younger than 40, or who are within the first 8 years of medical practice following completion of a residency or fellowship program. The YPS is the voice of young physicians concerned about issues, and brings physicians of similar age and similar time in practice together to talk about what is important to them, discuss common medical/practice issues affecting their practice and patients. YPS members work to address various issues including health equity, work/life balance, income/reimbursement and administrative burdens, and communicate to the UMA leadership.

Join to have your voice heard, and strive for improving medical education, public health, diversity, leadership development, and advocating for the future of medicine.
